Great brakes. I have a similar set and love the performance and great looks too.

No doubt. This kit addresses one of the serious deficiencies in the S2 system. That being terrible front bias. The caliper piston size and rotor diameter are engineered to move the bias rearward providing very balanced braking. Alas the car they were attached to is no longer in my possession.

spacers are required in the front. if you look closely of the pics of the hoses you will see a template to measure clearance.

The Elise/Exige are drastically front brake biased. The AP kit used different rotor sizes as well as different piston sizes in the front and rear calipers to help move the bias rearward.
