Are these Chrome Orange or Saffron Yellow?

I found these pictures on the LA Auto Show Press Kit CD.

Are these Chrome Orange or Saffron Yellow?

I thought that they were Saffron with some strange lighting. The main reason I thought this was that they had a SY car with the LSS at the show but no CO car.

What do you think?

2005 Elise was going to be SY but now thinking CO looks nice if that is CO

Unless the COM strongarmed Lotus into changing corporate logo colors those are just bad photos of Saffron Yellow.

P.S. Notice the twin halogens in the interior of the vehicle between the headrests. That IS the Saffron Yellow car from the L.A. Show.

The reason that I brought it up at all is that someone that runs another Elise forum is describing these pictures as being CO...

It looks like we think he is wrong

I think you are right. Though yesterday LCU suggested to me that it may be CO.

I think you've discovered the truth. It's Saffron with bad lighting!

So is Chrome Orange a metallic color or is it similar to AR or SY?

If you lighten the pic with adobe you can see it's saffron.
