I have a wedding to go to this summer and was thinking about putting the Elise on the AutoTrain in FL and taking it to VA and then driving from VA to NJ so that I can enjoy the car when I'm up there.

When I went to the AutoTrain website, it said that cars must have ground clearance of at least 4 inches.

Does anyone here know the ground clearance for the Elise, or have they taken the AutoTrain before. Is the 4 inches due to something that is used to hold the car in place, or is it due to the ramp angle needed to get the car on the train?

I've never seen an official spec on this, but it'll be close. I would have guessed exactly 4" for the clearance.

Maybe if you get LSS, it'll give you more than 4" for the higher setting.
