I understand that "Base" (non-touring) models were delivered without carpet on the side sills, under and behind the seats, and no sound insulation foam behind the rear cabin panel.

Question: Did the base models have carpet and foam floor pad in the trunk?

Base cars had carpet mats on the floor in front of the seats. They didn't have carpet on the floor under the seat or behind the seats or on the sides of the frame rails.
