I have to bring my Exige in for service and some warranty work next week. Stupidly, I forgot to put my battery on a charger over the winter and by the time I remembered, it was completely dead and will no longer hold a charge.

I have ordered a new Braille Battery, but it hasn't come yet and I worry it may not make it here in time.

Question: Can I just plunk a battery into it from another vehicle until the new one comes? Is there anything that can go wrong from doing this?

A different car battery will power up your Lotus just fine with no problems. Just make sure to hold it down securely by some means because if it is allowed to move around you could get some severe rear clam damage.
