I'm looking for tips and tricks from anyone who's bench bled the brake master cylinder on an Elise/Exige. I use a Motive to change fluid, but from past experience I've found that a Motive can't purge the MC if it's been dry. It needs to be bench bled.

Normally it's pretty easy to do, just put the MC mounting flange in a vice, attach the bleeding nipples to the two circuit ports and run the tubes from the nipples back into the reservoir. But how to deal with the remote reservoir?

Have you done it with the reservoir somehow attached to the MC?
Have you done it on the car? You need to have the MC level, so how did you do that?
