Yap, I usually get in and out by this method! Pretty easy for me and I also recommend my friend to get in & out like that. I noticed that your car has Gull wing top attached! How about make another video for how this "gull wing top" makes the difference when get in & out? even though the gull wing top is no longer available on the market except used one.
I keep it locked. I have mastered getting in and out fairly flawlessly so I don't mess with it. As many have noted, it's fit/finish leaves more to be desired so I rarely if ever take the wings off. I'm 6'1" myself and used the car as a DD for a little over a year before I bought my Silverado . . .
yup - the butt coming out is .....risque IF you get hung up at all....which i did. At that point - you are drawing an audience - and they are not looking at the car. The good news is that everyone finds a method.
I think 'old man getting out of a Lotus' is me in a few years trying to get in and out of my '87 Esprit. Lost count of how many times I've whacked my logic module in the roof getting in...
