My brake pedal sticks occasionally and won't return fully to the original position. It happens about 20% of the time. Any thoughts on solutions for this?

It only happens near the upper 1/3 of the brake pedal travel.

Lubricated the pedal's moving parts and it seems to be better. Might just buy a 2 1/2 inch spring as well.
