I'm curious if any lotus elise owners owns a brz as well and how they stack up to each other. Obviously they are in a different class but what do you like/dislike about it compared to the lotus. No, I'm not thinking about trading in my elise for a brz but from what I've read, the car does seem fun to drive.

I test drove the scion equivalent, the frs. it was fun to drive, but definitely not a lotus. currently have a holding deposit on one, but the wife is having second thoughts. she might go Acura instead.

ps - the dealer wouldn't let me fish-tail it around the freeway underpass. ;-)

I tested drove the FRS in June
"FRS/BRZ is great for it price"
Handle good, very positive steering response, but lack of power, basically a 2 seater since back seat is useless.

Absolutely no comparison to Elise/Exige in any category.

My friend test drove one recently- standard test drive, 15 minutes or so. He was underwhelmed and disappointed. He will definitely not be getting one.

I let him drive my Lotus a few weeks later for about the same amount of time on the same roads by his house. Nothing but smiles, and he wants to buy one.

I think that says a lot.
