So I was looking over my car while changing out tires and noticed the bump stops on all the shocks are completely worn down. I have a 2008 Elise 60th Anniversary edition with the factory track pack kit set up per track pack recommendations, ride height 120 mm and damper adjustment front 8 and rear 7. I've been driving the car pretty hard at track days but I haven't really felt the suspension bottom out hard.
Is this normal or is this something I need to be worried about? I would think that if one of the shocks was bad it could do that, but all four? Do I need to replace the bump stops and if I do where do I get replacements? Would I need to disassemble the whole shock assembly to put them on? Or do I need to replace all four shocks? Any advice appreciated, thanks.
