Sorry if this has been answered before. I need to get my California 06 Elise (factory original / no mods / 13,000 mile) Smog Checked again.

Im currently working in Vegas for the summer and I was hoping to get it Smog at the nearest California Station - NIPTON?

Questions
1. Can i get my Elise smog anywhere - or do i need to go to a special place
2. Do i need to worry about ramps etc?

Should not be an issue . Not many smog center have done an elige so do your due diligence when driving up the ramp.
My 05 did not have issues.

I didn't do the Smog check in the same county. I believe you can do it anywhere in California.

That's slightly true. From CA DMV page;

There are six counties that require smog certifications within certain Zip Codes only. These counties are:

El Dorado, Placer, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Sonoma.

I found a local shop on Yelp that had good reviews and had actually done a few Lotus and exotics. When I pulled up we chatted for a second and went through the paper work. Once the car was ready to be pulled onto the rollers, he seemed a little timid so I just asked if we wanted me to pull it in. The guy was totally fine with it and I pulled it in and out, no problems at all...
