I took my son to LegoLand, Disneyland, and Universal Studios in 3 days in 1999. The next day we went to the Griffith Observatory. After the dissapointment of LegoLand and the crowds of the latter two, Griffith was wonderful -- free, quiet, and still had some cool stuff to see.
Basically $150 for two people plus probably $4 soft drinks (if not more) so you can stand in line with thousands of other people for 2+ hours at a time to hopefully get on a 2 minute ride if it doesn't break? No thanks. If you are in Florida skip west to Tampa and try Busch Gardens. Hell of a lot more fun, cheaper, short lines and better rides.
