I'm sure some of you have already seen this story:

100-year-old man in Cadillac runs over 11 near L.A. school - San Jose Mercury News

Question though, at what point do we implement mandatory driving tests for the elderly? And at what age?

We have driving tests for teenagers and it's almost always 15 or 16 right? So why not mandatory driving tests (not just a quick once-through) for old folks after age: 70 or something?

Not every 16 y/o with a car drives like a maniac (though most probably do) and likewise, not every senior citizen drives like either a snail stuck in quicksand or a lead-footed serial killer so why not test them regardless and verify. Driving after all is a privilege and not a "right". Right?

I believe anyone over the age of 70 should pass an actual driving test annually....
