Has anyone successfully adapted or made a new throttle pedal section, to change the angle of the pedal pad for more effective heel and toeing?

What I'm referring to is the angle, of the bottom of the pedal. I feel it curves inwards far too excessively which is disadvantageous. The bottom of the pedal should most always extend in FRONT of the brake pedal, even if only for this reason alone. So when the ball of your foot is on the brake, and you swing across, the lower section/heel of your foot (naturally) has a pedal to swing onto. In the lotus, this section is curving inwards towards the front of the car, in line with, or behind the brake pedal.

It's really beyond me how almost every other exotic car manufacturer can get this so right (even by utilizing floor pedals) yet Lotus who builds driver's racer cars can get it so wrong. It's not impossible to H&T, but it's a damned sight harder than it should be.
