Does anyone with a charlieX tune on a katana supercharger know if the emissions readiness checkers are left intact?

Can’t speak to the katana sc, but I have the old Charliex tune on my exige and it passes smog fine.

It might pass a sniffer, but I remember mine as the emissions codes were "not ready" and it couldn't pass the OBD for NY. That's when I went to a Kold-Fire tune.

Next question is how does one check emissions readiness? And how hard is it to switch the readiness checkers back on?

readiness is internal to the ECU, you cannot turn them on or off

you can check to see if they are clear and what they are with a code reader

IF you threw a code and have not run the required cycle they will stay not ready

same as if the car is cold

Get an OBD reader. You have to drive the car around 30 miles or so under varying conditions for all the parameters to set (O2, CAT, EVAP, etc..)
