The last time I drove my Elise I heard a funny "clunk" in the back when applying the brakes. "Well THAT'S not good!" I thought to myself. I put the car up on ramps, removed the undertray and diffuser and poked around.
The large bolt that secures the Brembo brake caliper to the hub was *GONE*
:facepalm

I overhauled my brakes this summer and upgraded to stainless steel brake lines. Obviously I forgot to properly torque the bolts when I put everything back together. I checked the opposite bolt and it was only finger tight.
Careful, careful, careful everyone!
P.S. EliseParts had replacement bolts to me from England in 3 business days (ordered them Monday, received them today). I LOVE those guys!!
