no reserve on that thing? Interesting.
Seller has 0 feedback too so I'd be careful.
Clean title? I.e. able to register and drive on the street?
I love this line:

"Don't expect me to sell it to you just because you have wonderful eyes or a pretty ass (for women). "

maybe he can refer those bidders to me...

anyone notice the other car in the 2nd picture also has European format license plates?

I wouldn't bet on that car being in the US, at least not at the time those photos were taken.

Hard to tell if the guy is being honest (says he prefers an in-person pick up of the car), but obviously with 0 feedback who knows.

The feds will crush it:eek:
yeah those evergreen trees in the photos don't look like West Palm Beach to me!
Hmmm... Florida. The same place the guy was busted for illegally importing Elises into the US. He (and his partner, I think) are doing time in a Federal Prison. And the feds are looking to confiscate (and crush) the illegally imported Elises...

Yep. I'd be interested in buying an illegal car. Even if it didn't look so much like a scam...

Maybe someone could buy the car and trade it for a low spot on a waiting list...:crazyeyes

lower than $2k?! Might as well be no reserve.

Looks like the auction has already been removed -- it's giving me an invalid item number page right now.

Best,
John
the item has been removed
The BMW would worry me a bit. X-series? This isn't a Jaguar, the X3 and X5 are completely different vehicles.
I'm assuming they did remove him since he gave his e-mail address and probably was trying to circumvent Ebay's fees (or he probably did already)

I wonder if that car would be street legal here in the US, he probably brought it a year ago and now he has to get rid of it.

Anyway, my feeling is that if it was a valid item, someone sent him an e-mail and they already have a deal.
Nope, invalid item is when Ebay pulls an auction.
