I bought one of these for my Mazda when I was 16 years old off Ebay. It did literally nothing other than throw up a CEL. Back in the Rotary scene, we all pitched in for a guy to come from Japan and tune out vehicles in the passenger seat with the Apexi ECU. Each person paid him $400.00 for a hour, and that didnt even include the dyno time. He would make over $10k and get a free trip across the pond. The moral of the story is, horsepower isn't cheap. Best bet is to compare it to a legit company and see how much they cost to tune a ECU.
