Driving my lotus makes me feel good in the sense that all I have in front of me is a steering wheel, a gear shifter, and three pedals.

I've never used my radio or even HVAC.

Having a car read my texts to me (Mercedes) and sort my emails while I'm driving does not make me feel good. I've had extended time to test a new Merc out and I explicitly found myself wanting to just turn everything off.

Let me guess...no one owns an E46 M3 here?

I do think the E46 M3 is the most balanced BMW in terms of comfort and trackability. Not to mention the S54 or should I say the best I6 ever made by BMW? The car has enough electronics to help most drivers and yet all can be switched off for the die-hard track junkie. Something which unfortunately the E9X M3 won't be able to compare.

I own and track both marquees. They are just different animals. Even comparing the E30M3 to an Elige seems a bit far stretch. As much as I appreciate the raw driving experience of my exige, I do miss the the smooth German I6 and handling.
