All was done by myself! (The BOE thing is too expensive in my opinion)
It all started after I had the car for less than one year, many years back.
The radiator was leaking and when i removed the front clam for fixing the radiator issue i thought about making it detachable because actually i'm a bit lazy :)
So i thought about a system that is easy to open and easy to remove. After many nights and some bottles of wine and beer i found the perfect solution, built it and...it worked perfectely!
More or less one year ago i had some problems again. this time with my f******************* inlet camshaft. I thought about Phlis system, had a look at it and thought that it should be improved to feed my needs. I didn't want to unscrew any parts (therfore i had to cut some parts, hence it has to remain in the car forever) plus, same than at the front clam hinge system, i wanted it to be detachable very easily.
My system doesn't use any hinges or rods. it is very simple and ultra-lightweight.

I have no problem cutting or modifying, get that front hinge on the market!

I like it a lot. I don't like to unscrew things either. Plus I'm lazy just like you. Any chance you're gonna sell a kit for this?

Was soll der TÜV dazu sagen?
Es ist alles fest und auch sonst passt alles. Kein Problem!

So you guys over there really want me to sell a kit... hmmm. Good idea, but what about the undertray? This would be too big to ship!
Maybe only the hinges? I'll think about this...

Getting some benefit from your fruits of labor would be nice for you, I am sure.

If you decide not to sell and would like to do a detailed write up and pictures of what went into it for others I am sure we wouldn't complain. :UK:

Yes, details on the front clam hinge would be awesome. I doubt I would be able to recreate what you have done...but it would be amazing to see how it works. I am about to pull my clam for the A/C system, and to tilt up in the future would be a VERY nice edition as I won't have to fight with any adjustments in the future when it comes to suspension adjustments on the fly.

AMAZING work

Ever since I saw BOE's clamhinge, I was wondering if anything would be done for the front. Awesome job, we need a product like this on the market!

Got any more pictures? Would love to see some more details on it. I'll be fabbing up something myself soon and it looks like you've come up with a very clever way of doing it :D
