Hey Folks,

I have been honored with the position of Northeast Regional Coordinator for Club111. If any of you are currently members or intend on joining by summers end, please contact me, on this thread or by PM so we can start to schedule regional events/activities. I'm open to ideas and suggestions so let them fly. Anyone up for a road trip to LOG?

Could we plan something for early in 05? I can't believe there will be enough Elises here to get a good turnout. Just my two cents.
Vagman,

As far as car events, your absolutely dead on. I've frankly been struggling with this very issue for some time now. The delivery situtaion however shouldn't effect doing karting or just having a social get-together. I think our first event is shaping out to be a Elise intro and club event will be Princton Sport and Specialist Cars in September.

I'm going to throw this out a little early but I've been working on a Lotus Tour for Club111 members for late summer 2005. This would included a factory tour, tour for team lotus, the donnington muesum, and track time with Lotus Driving Instructors on their test track. Any interest?

Probably couldn't do late summer, but if it was in October I would be interested. If any interest in just having a get-together, I would be happy to host something at my lake house in Sherman CT, which is somewhat central in location for those in the NY/NJ/CT area. Let me know if any interest...
Wallabyguy and gang,

Sorry, s/h/b clearer. Karting and other "non possession of my Elise" activities this year and then an awesome "here's our babies" get together in '05. But I think we're all on the same page so my comments are moot! Sorry for rambling must get a large coffee now!
F1 Boston Outdoors (in Bridgewater) is a great facility and lots of fun. F1 Boston Indoors (Braintree) is OK when the weather is inclement.

There's a new kart track (Also indoor) going in near Gliette Stadium in Foxboro... should be open this month. (http://www.racing-america.com/)

Why not invade an Auto-x and dodge cones with your car? :) Drive it instead of just look at it. :D

If we went to F1 Outdoors could I bring my own Rotax or must I use their equipment?
Your Rotax stays home, you get to use their 9hp 4 cycles. They do have open practice with your own kart on Tuesday evenings and some Saturdays.
