I am new here and also new to lotus ownership but pretty good fixing things/figuring out what's wrong with something. Anyways, I have an 06 Elise with 26,xxx miles and my tachometer recently became stuck at around 62-6800 rpms, it still functions (shift light, revs up and down) but it starts and stays at 62-6800 when turned off and on.
Any help would greatly be appreciated, also I've done a lot of research about the "best" type of oil to use and recently did an oil change using fully synthetic Mobil race oil (15w-50) but if anyone has a recommendation they can backup with data I'm all ears. Also was researching into the MOA oil additive and if anyone has thoughts on this please let me know. Thanks in advance for any response.
