If you are over 250hp then most are going with the ACT heavy duty clutch. If you are around 300hp then the ACT extreme duty, but this is not so good for city driving unless you like to chirp around and give passenger whiplash. The extreme duty clutch will also develop your left leg muscles so your left leg will be twice as big as the right leg.

The flywheel is a different story. I kept my stock flywheel because many reported difficulties with idle and car dying when switching to lighter flywheel. Fidanza is commonly used. See what Sector111 is currently selling, that is best bet if you must swap.

I am using a Fidanza flywheel, they are cheap and they never broke (yet). The car has a Katana blower with a 3.2 pulley and EFI stand alone. I am running quite often on track, and quite agressive too with sticky tire (Hoosier R6). No trouble at all with my idle track or street. The car is light enought to not require the weight of the stock flywheel designed for an heavy car like the Matrix.

I am running the ACT clutch HDSS. Do not use ceramic disc if you are running the car on street with many start and go on trafic, those disc have tendency to crack.
