Hi, I have a lotus elise with rev 400 putting 360hp and 218tq to the wheels.
I am in the process of swapping a trans with the bwr gearset and, act xtss clutch and a fidanza flywheel.
It was recommended to me to put a Tilton clutch delay valve to prolong longevity of the trans for the drag lounches.
Any opinions on that?

Eliges that are equipped with launch control already has stock CDV in the clutch line.
CDV protects drivetrain at the expense of clutch wear and unpredictable engagement point.. If your intent is to protect the tranny, diff, drive shafts $$$ etc, than yes for CDV...If you intent for smooth and quickest launch, then CDV is bad.

I put in the tilton one from BOE. I never noticed it and I never broke anything again after it was installed. And I broke a LOT of things.
