The dealership I bought my Elise from misplaced the Alarm code card. I want to add a Blackwatch Racing key, so I don't have to carry around the silly Cobra fob. Anyone know how to find the code? Is it just a dealer question (Criswell Lotus was servicing the car) or a factory question?

Maybe I am missing something here but why do you need the code? You just take apart the Cobra fob and stick its innards into the Blackwatch Racing Key and you are good to go.

I didn't even think of that. It might work. Will have to see when the key arrives. Thanks!

Lotus of Newport (CA) was able to give me my pin code over the phone based on VIN. I didn't buy the car from them.

The reason you need the PIN code is because;
a) The remote stops working
b) You loose the remote
c) The need to reprogram the remote
d) Changing the alarm program
The dealer will get it from Lotus after you prove ownership.

Michael

If you don't have the code get it NOW. Don't wait until you need it (which will be on a Friday afternoon just after Lotus UK have gone home for the weekend)
