Just in time for LOG 28 at Indy. -- Well not really. This could have been out on the web for years, but I just found it.

Click on the “Historical” tab then scroll down to see some coloring book worth “design templates” of the 1965 Lotus entry.

Note that Jim Clark driving a Lotus was second in 1963 on his first attempt in at Indy. In 1964 he dominated until suffering suspension failure on lap 47. In 1965 he was the victor after completely dominating the race in 1965.

Also let us not forget the STP turbine car by Lotus. Joe Leonard was leading the 1968 race with just a handful of laps to go when the engine failed.

As I remember it from the time, it was a U-joint in the drive line...:shrug:
