Like a lot of people, we have had some pretty cold weather here lately. My car has a garage but it is not heated. I noticed yesterday that some coolant had leaked onto the garage floor directly under the 'drain' hole in the liner pan under the car. It wasnt much, maybe a couple of ounces. I checked the reservoirs and all looked good so I went for a long drive and had no issues. Didnt notice any more leaking. Any ideas what might have happened?

Thanks

I had the same issue after refilling the coolant. I am assuming that this is where the overflow goes to from the expansion tank, but am not sure.

Can anyone confirm?

If you mean the hole just rear of the drivers side rear wheel then yes that's where the expansion reservoir hose drops down should the system be overfilled (or in extreme cases overheated) If you mean the engine undertray then that is likely a leak from a hose or more likely the water pump seal, which can cure itself temporarily if run.
