I think that is a very good guess for the dealer option.LarryB said:Best guess at this point was $1.2k installed-
OH! I thought there were two different kits. Now I see it's a standard kit and then optional bits/package. Thanks!LarryB said:Randy- Had already checked out Shinoo kit, belive optional kit item #10 ($162) will cover what you/I are looking for.
Didn't i already mention it was`Starshield that got the contract with Lotus? Could have sworn I did.... is that some sort of secret?Randy Chase said:I possibly misunderstood someone from Lotus, or both could be correct in a way.
It's a dealer option for sure. I was told that the installation would be done one all arriving cars by the contracted vendor at or near the port. I don't know if I can mention the vendor yet, that data was supposed to be going out to dealers any time now.

$620 for 22 little pieces of adhesive-backed plastic and a video. I tell you, SOMEONE is making a hell of a profit margin on that one. I had my 2002 Turbo Bettle S (which has lots of little surfaces needing covering) done for less than $500 including labor. They are just ripping us off because our cars are 'exotic'.
I was expecting around $700-$800 installed.

And I would expect Bikinis to cost less than a full dress.James A said:I had my M5 done for $325 and it uses a lot more material than the Elise will, I would expect under $300 !
