I am sure there are resonses to these -- but it would be like finding a needle in a haystack with all the threads that are in this forum:

1. Can anyone recommend an integrated GPS/Stereo with or without satellite option and who is the best in Toronto to purchase and install?

2. On the Lotus webite they sell some storage kits for the doors etc.. -- are these any good or too gimike?

3. with 07 elise - the console is not leather -- whats the process to install a leather console -- and does it look better (I know - personal perference)

Thanks for the "anticipated" help

1. If you prefer a single DIN solution, go with the JVC KD-NX5000. If you want the flip out 7" screen, go with the Pioneer AVIC-N4.
2. The only storage option I recommend is this:
The Bootie - Trunk organizer for the Lotus Elise and Exige - Trunk Storage Sector111
3. Here is the information you need for removing and installing the center console if you want to do it yourself:

The leather does look better IMO, but of course I'm biased since my car came with the leather center console. There are a few pics of my car's interior here:

(shameless promotion of my "For Sale" thread)
Another option would be a carbon fiber one like the one here:

Wow -- thanks for all the help  -- funny I know Courtney from back at Pfaff -- he used to service my 1997 C2S and now he does a couple of very good friends cars. I didn't realize he was into Lotus as well. I am definitely going to go to Exoticare to do the stereo. Is having a shorter wiper stick an issue for control -- I mean does size really matter:no:

i have a pioneer with nav,XM and back up camera. ExotiCARe - Custom Automotive Resources did the work and can do anything else you need as well as custom interior exterior work

look here http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f157/interior-mods-done-stereo-camera-navigation-console-38187/
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you :clap:for recommending Exoticare (andrew). They were awesome. I was handled with kid gloves by Andrew (SKINY) and his crew . They installed the Jensen VM9512 with Alpine SPR-13C and Alpine SPS-400 speakers. Subwoofer is going to be installed later next week. I am ecstatic and hoping for a clear weekend so I can go topless!:up:

1) I am still not 100% sold on the Bootie. I bought one but have found it nearly impossible to squeeze my laptop in with the bootie installed. It was a tight fit before, but a near impossible one now. Then again, it's great for keeping the softop and other items from rattling around. It does reduce the already small space.

2) One alternative to the leather console is a painted console. I had Chuck_Risen do that and it turned out great. There's a huge thread with a ton of examples:
http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f95/fs-painted-center-console-plus-47892/

3) Get the Sector111 Lidbone. Well worth the $, just be sure to find a buddy with a machine shop so you can mill it down a bit to keep it from scratching the engine covers (also available from Chuck_Risen).

But most importantly... :shift:

Got the Lidbone -- best thing since sliced bread :D. Also got the rearview mirror from Sector 111 - but we are having an issue installing it.
