Do any of you put a cover on your elige while trailering on an open trailer? Where did you buy it?

I'm going to trailer my elise for ~6 days when I attend a track day out of state. It will be an open trailer bed. The roof leaks and various components act funny when it gets way too wet... I want to be prepared to cover it when it rains.

However, most "outdoor" waterproof covers are made of a plastic-like tarp that will definitely mar the finish if left flapping on the car in 70mph relative winds on the highway.

Any of you have good solutions?

Anyone I've seen trailing any car does so without a cover. I can't see how any cover would not abrade the paint. If you are going to be trailing in rain, perhaps tape the leaky spots? Cover it at night.

Even in the owner’s manual we know the windows are going to leak. I kept two towels to put over the seats, slightly jammed into the doors as they close.

No way a cover on while moving, but absolutely when in the paddock.

Alright, well you've talked me off the ledge guy, I won't try to cover while moving. Tape+towels on the leaking points it is!

Thanks
