Let me just say that I love these mirrors, but they are a PITA to install.

Difficulty: 1-10 is a 2

Hardware required:
1. 8/32 x 1/2 inch bolt w/philips head (2)
2. 8/32 x 3/4 inch bolt w/philips head (2)
3. 8/32 x 1 inch bolt w/philips head (2)
4. 8/32 "Acorn Nuts" (6)
5. 3mm LONG Allen wrench (for OEM bolts, door panels and window knob)
6. 4mm LONG Aleen wrench (for OEM bolts)
7. Razor blade (for removing black OEM circular adhesive sticker)
8. Magnetic telescoping retrieving tool (to retrieve bolts that fall into door)
9. Philips screw driver 10 inch (to attach new bolts to acorn nuts
10. Philips screw driver short (to remove door panel screw in the front)
9. Masking tape (to secure bolt to screwdriver and protect door edge)

Note 1: 8/32 inch bolts are narrower than the OEM bolts but are required because the acorn nuts that holds the bolts in place have to fit inside the mount. (see pic)

Note 2: Don't try to do this without taking off the door panel. The 3rd OEM bolt head does not come out of it's original hole. It's too large.

Note 3: Window must be rolled down to access holes when mounting

Note 4: Window must be rolled up to access inside door when retrieving bolts

Overall I was imediately impressed with the look. Much better than the bulky OEM mirrors.

I intend to black vinyl wrap the mirror plate to match the windshield.

This makes the car look much more aggressive.

Drive safe!

Tim
