To DD or not to DD
I've always been of the mind that it's nice to have another option/car to drive.
Could I drive the Elise everyday, yes. Do I want to, no.
I feel the Elise was intended to be enjoyed with the roof out 100% of the time, and driven at 8/10th as much as possible. And that can't be done in cold wx or in any kind of precep.
As for this reporters negatives
1. Parking, yes I worry about it. But I'm not parking it in DC everyday that's for sure.
2. The radio sucks, I listen to the car's exhaust note a lot and smile
3. The ride? You didn't buy a Cadillac, really with the OE tires at proper pressure and the sports pack I feel the ride is what it is
4. Wind management, I've always liked the wind blowing around me. My wife not so much her hair blows in her mouth and eyes, so she wears a baseball cap.
5. Noise? yes it's a noisy little bugger and that's part of the deal I love it.
