Spinning off of the post I made in the 'MAG Deliveries?' thread regarding my less-than-satisfactory experience with my local dealership, I'm interested to hear from anyone who feels as though they have had a good experience with their dealer (wherever they may be in the purchase process).

I have had a wonderful experence with the lotus dealer in my home town of san antoino. Great service, great attitudes, and just all around wonderful to deal with. I know a few others here who have had the same experences I have, and one or two who will bad mouth any dealer that is not there own... Be aware..

i have had a great expierence so far with PBMC ( palm beach motor cars) My salesman Larry Rumsy and the Lotus expert there Ryan Moore are the best!

I went by on Monday to finally see the yellow car they had for one more day, unfortunatly i stopped by in a storm so i was unable to take the demo out but i did get plenty of time for pictures , started up the demo to hear that engine roar ( sounds just right i am not going to mess with exhausts, i am happy with the exhaust note) Even bought a few trinkets!

I was told i would be getting my car sometime in Sept. So far so good!

Wally at Star Motor Cars in Houston has been a real straight shooter from back when I placed my deposit in January 2002. He treats customers as real people and to this day has been helpful with whatever concern I've had. This is obviously a very sensitive time for customers like myself, who have been on the waiting list longer than most and still do not have their cars. I feel that Wally and Star Motor Cars have and will do whatever they can to satisfy me. I just wished I lived closer (I live in NY) so I could give them my service business.

Talking about service, Star's service dept. is also quite resourceful. After attending a training session at LCU, their top mechanic came back with a laudry list of ideas for the Elise. Contact Wally if you want to know what they're planning.

Bought from Dimmitt in Clearwater, FL and highly recommend them. Great friendly staff, car and paperwork ready at time of delivery. Ask for Clay Curtiss, great sales person! Jeff the General Manager is also a great guy to deal with.

Autostrada is the best. With a company that has had poor communications and customer serivice, Autostrada has been a shining star. They are realistic, honest, and do not cheat people. There is no such thing as an "EXTRA" car at Autostrada. There are only customer cars, and those go to people in the order they were put on the list. Period. What else can you ask for? Oh yeah, they seem to get a lot of cars too......

I am #13 at HRM (no LSS), got an e-mail today that my car is in port. I have had my VIN for a few weeks now, and had my order/production # before that, having been told when my car was on the assembly line...Although I got somewhat impatient (and maybe a little paranoid) from the time I found out my car was being built until finding out it was here today(can't blame them for that delay), how many dealers were providing this information to their customers? That definitely is worthy of praise...:clap:
