Michael Delgiorno, the head of Lotus Sales for Princeton Sport and Specialist Cars died suddenly while on vacation a week ago. He was with PSSC for 6 years and will be missed by those of us who have come to know him. He was survived by his wife and several children.

I will be sending a card and flowers on behalf of Elisetalk and the Lotus community. Please take a moment to write any expressions of sympathy on this thread so that they can be included along with the card.

My Deepest Sympathy!

From the beginning in 2002, I have had the privelege to have Micheal Delgiorno as my sales representative. I have talked to him several times as I am #24 on the Princeton Sports and Specialist list. The last time that I talked to Micheal was after returning from the dealers launch at the Barber race track in Atlanta. He was so excited to be apart of the festivities and he loved everything about the car and most impressed with the braking ability of the car. He was always a great guy to talk to. I will miss him even though I never met him. My deepest sympathy to his wife, children and family. He also told me that the total number of Elises' to be built for the 2005 model will not be reached. mr t / Colorado /CO, Hardtop, Touring Pkg.

Although this post is a little late. I'm shocked to hear that Michael has passed away. I'm #14 at S&S Cars and have stopped in many times to speak with Michael and just "shoot the breeze" with him regarding the Elise. A genuinely nice and easy going guy, no pressure, no bull about him. Was disappointed when I called S&S a couple of weeks ago and was told that "Michael is no longer with us". I just figured he moved on...in a sense he truly has!!!
