Mark Vinnels, Lotus' Head Of Manufacturing stated recently, " the
development and manufacturing has helped speed up the whole process of getting new product from the drawing board to market. It also means the engineers from both divisions can work very closely together so we can develop and deliver on time!"

They 'originally' gave us 4/04......and then
we started hearing 'May/June', hopefully to make them look like heroes if the 4/04
date is kept. If they asked for 'first car' orders by 1/9, a 12 week completion period is possible. BMW's (Mini-Cooper)
plant in England is meeting that for custom ordered cars. Why not Lotus?

September '03 was the date I was given when I put my deposit down.
