THIS IS NOT ONE OF MY DRIVES, BUT I CAME ACROSS IT ON ANOTHER SITE. THIS DRIVE IS NOW SUNDAY MAY 31st!

Here is the info:

"If you have never been to PK lake, you're missing out on some of the best sports car roads Texas has to offer. I have organized a few of these runs and they have all been a blast. This is my first time organizing one for 6speeders and hope you guys can make it.

Bring your favorite car and a tank full of gas and get ready for an awesome run through hills, valleys, and finally, beautiful PK lake, where we will have lunch on the lake at Rockin' S Bar and Grill .

Time/date: We will meet at Rosas Cafe in Hurst on Saturday May 31st, at around 10:30am and depart at 11. 2200 Precent Line Rd, Hurst Texas, 76054. Lunch will be about 1pm on the lake and should be getting back around 3pm.

Meet point Map: Driving Directions | Yelp

Route Map: i will provide everyone a printed route guide in case anyone loses his/her way.

Lunch: We will have lunch at the Rockin' S Bar and Grill overlooking PK Lake. here is a link to the menu:

http://www.pkhideaway.com/Rockin S...ill Menu.htm

From the meet point, the route is about 110 miles and about 90 miles coming back. Post here or pm if you would like to attend as larger numbers will require reservation at the Rockin S.

Thanks and see you guys there! "

He actually PM'd me and said if I could put together enough ppl, he would bump it to Sunday for me ( us ) ... since Sunday is the only day I could do it, I am trying.

I already have 5 cars confirmed... so, if say another 5 here + other sites, it may work.

But then again, I will leave it open to what works for everyone else

Steve

p.s. 6speedonline.. no I do not know him.

I have 14 cars signed up, so the organizer has agreed to move it to Sunday for us! Looks like total number of cars will be over 25!

So , PM me if you have any questions.

There are over 30 cars confirmed for the 5/31 drive!

This should be interesting to say the least, we are all looking forward to this event!

You should edit the first post to reflect the new date (Sunday, May 31st). If it's that day, I'll come but I can't if it's on Saturday, the 30th.
I cannot edit the title.. BUT I have updated the post to reflect that the drive will be SUNDAY MAY 31st...

anyone interested in meeting up and driving to Rosas, or are we all just meeting there?

I'll bring an extra radio if someone wants to borrow it.

I'm going to come up and visit and may do the first part of the drive, but can't do the whole day.

For those that are interested in showing up as a group, I have several ppl that are meeting up for a pre-meet:

1. Meeting in the parking lot for Wal Mart off 121 and Main Street in The Colony.
2. Meeting between 9a - 9:30a
3. Leaving at 9:30a , this is an informal pre-meet only.
4. Bring your FRS radio's , this WILL be a large group
5. IF there is enough ppl interested, I will offer to lead a second group that is interested in a different pace.
6. Make sure you have a full tank of fuel before the drive starts
7. Feel free to stop by if you want a pre-drive inspection, check tires, brakes, leaks, etc... we do not want to be the guys who had a problem.. LOL

Lunch is expected to be around 1pm, so eat breakfast.

See you soon
