I've seen all the threads on removal but not removal of just the alarm portion that draws so much energy from the battery. The small battery cannot keep up with the voratious appetite of the alarm. I want to keep the unlock/lock and imobilizer function but remove the part of the system that sucks the most power.
Is this possible?

Not sure I fully understand, but Sir Lotus has a simple procedure to disable auto-arm.

He is a prince. This was such a great and easy fix to an annoying problem.

Alarm manual may have this info too, but SL has easy instructions.

Edit: You can still set alarm when you like.
