Differences amongst US and Euro Elises?

Hey there everyone, I am a newbie here on lotustalk and I was just wondering what differences (other than the obvious motor and drivetrain) differentiate the US spec elise from the Euro model? I attempted a couple of searches to attain this information, to that of no avail. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

type of lighting and flashing at led taillights (US and EU models 06+)
side markers
speedo cluster
dashboard (dual airbags) - Euro late 07+ elises exiges are also equipped-
drl mode (day time running lights)
It is only the earlier Euro (and rest of world) cars that had a different engine (pre 04). Post the 111R/Federal Elise the engine/driveline is the same in the R models and the Exige (the US doesn't get the 1ZZ-FE engined Elise S in the current lineup).
...i believe the european spec cars have an external radio antenna mounted on the boot lid; at least the early S2s did...
Steering wheel is on the right side.........
Has the hood replaced by a bonnet and the trunk replaced by a boot.

And they run on petrol, not gas.
NOT even to mention that they have MUCH better beer being transported home from the store.

but 08+ EU elises/exiges have same antenna like US cars .

+ gas cap with a lock for EU elises/exiges
but gas cap (different style) without lock for US elises/exiges
Lotus in the UK get 1.2x better mpg's.
haha, thanks for the info fellas. I was actually trying to find the differences amongst the earlier year S2's.. I believe I read somewhere that these Euro models also have a different exhaust outlet built into the rear clam?
I needed to find out about the differences when I registered my Federal car in Germany.
Lotus was kind enough to send me a CoC paper for a Euro spec Elise along with a letter which listed all the differences.

Those were:
- Charcoal canister: Euro cars don't have one
- Exhaust system: the letter said that the Fed exhaust doesn't meet European noise specs
- Instrument cluster: mph / Farenheit vs. km/h / Celsius
- Rear turn signals: red in the US, amber in Europe
- Rear fog light: not installed on Fed cars

Other than that there are some differences not listed like the side marker lights (Euro cars don't have them) and the emergency trunk release inside the trunk
Euro cars use windscreens instead of windshields.

Seriously, early ones don´t have ABS, airbags, or any driving aids, no A/C or anything unnessessary.

The early S2s with the Rover engine had the exhaust outlets through the grill above the diffuser as in this photo (the standard car has oval exhausts and the 111S has round exhausts).

Mine is a 2006 Eu model Exige... All of the above + The dash is different and covered in ALCANTARA® as well as the steering wheel, the speakers are in side panels over the frame rail...

There is still a charcoal canister, but it is a different set up than the FED models (and better in my opinion as it take up less space is round and is tucked away nicer. No need to move it for a supercharger kit. :D

The Gas Cap with a Carbon fiber cover I got from BSK...

and with the black trim ring I picked up from eliseparts in the UK.

The tune on the computer is also different, but that's something for CharlieX to answer.
