Dip stick

I looked for around and have not found a good answer. The car has a VF2 supercharger on it. Found the other day while checking oil that the dip stick was hard to remove. I have read that the I ring sticks but it was hard to remove all the way through the tube. Also while putting It back in I had to help it along inch by inch. The dip stick tube seems to be loose rocks side to side. I think the side by side movement is because it might be missing a bracket from the VF2 install, not sure though. Anyone know If I have a problem and how to fix
