Looking at the Tillet B6F seat for my Exige. Does anybody have one mounted in their car? Do you have the B6F-41 or B6F-44? How well does it fit in the interior? Do you have it mounted on the adjustable seat rails?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I know TurboPhil recommends Tillets, but I'm not sure about the model numbers etc... You might reach out to him ??

Looks to me that the only area where you may run into trouble with B6s is in external width of the seat bottom, which is 2 cm wider for the B6: https://www.tillett.co.uk/shop/documents/downloads/B6 Dimensions 2013 model.pdf

You may have to trim the rolled edge. I'm 5' 7" and when I had my B5s mounted on the slider, they were almost all the way forward - there was MAYBE 2 cm of extra space WITHOUT the center console.

I actually have a set of these available for sale if you end up needing a set because I switched to a fixed seat when I got my cage, just PM me if interested. Given the hole centers for side mounts on the B6s are 29cm versus 23cm for the B5, I don't think these mounts could be modified to work with the B6

I did a little bit of research on the B6F and was about to buy it, though I ended up not following through because something else turned up.

If you like to pull up your seat very closely, then you might have to opt for the 41cm 'rolled edges' cut off. 44cm FIA models with the edges intact will require modification.

The B6F uses different mount than EB2 mount, so itwill require modification or custom mount if you want to mount it on the stock rails. I think it'll be as easy or hard as you want it to be.

I am using both the B6F and B7F Carbon [different cars] and both are installed using the EBF1 mounts.
Fitted easily and have used the sector 111 sys.6 pack.sys.6.pack - Seat Security and 6 Point Harness Attachment for your Lotus Elise and Exige - Sector111

Both seats have no padding but in hindsight I should have ordered as seats get a bit hard after 10 laps.
I use the Schroth Endurance belts and made up separate eye bolt mounting points for the rear [as against mounting to the EBf1 brackets ] Best belts on the market in my opinion.

I agree about the Schroth belts. I have a local distributor that is actually authorized to sew their belts for custom installations. What did you do for the crotch belt? After they looked at my Lotus, they said I should mount the crotch belt like you would for a formula car; ie, the belts enter the seat under your butt. Then use a 5 pt mount to go forward to help in the event of a roll over.

We have sold a ton of the Tillets and never had a complaint other than their standard fulfillment time (not necessarily being able to ship immediately all the time). They even do custom pads too which is nice. The FIA certification is a nice feature too that is very rare with seats.

Our CF Big Bottom seats are a good option for people who want to still use their stock rails AND they are more comfortable for people with wider hips. check them out: HERE

I just hard mounted them ..as I am the only one who uses the car so no adjustment required.
I recall a friend tried to mount using a seat rail into an Elise ...but although it worked the seat was to high , well high compared to how low you can get it with the EBF1 mounts.
I am just under 6ft have a 35" waist and a bit bigger around the chest /shoulders [swimmer] and weigh 87kg ... seat fits me fine.
I think the Tillet web site has very good info regarding fit.
The Tillet has very good support all-round and really holds you in place especially with Schroth belts tightened down .
I have tried the Reverie seats etc but find they don't offer the same level of support .

I just used the sys.6 pack setup from Sector to do the crutch belts ..no issues .

If you can go for the carbon B7 seat ,seriously light and FIA approved. Maybe add some padding !!!

cph, did you retain the 3 point belt with your setup? For me it would be ideal to be able to use both the harness and 3 point belt (for street).
