...where the tie down points are on the Elise?

I am purchasing my car in Chicago (I'm in Indy) and was thinking of flatbedding my Elise back. Are there any issues with doing this? Are the tie downs pretty robust, or are they fragile? etc.

Thanks.

The elise has no dedicated tie down points.

It can be tied to a flatbed round the tyres but you should not use the wishbones as these have been bent by people doing this in the past.
From what I understand, tie downs by the wheels is only approved method for tieing them down. One of the older S2s that LCU (120 hp car that ended up being painted and was at SEMA) was tied down by the suspension, totally screwed it up.
