I think the 2006 year had some Elise Sport variants with similar seats. But I want to say all the cars were yellow, like this one with yellow seat accents 2006 Lotus Sport Elise

Short version - later years "sport seat" option. While I haven't seen the black-on-block with "Elise" text, (very similar to my stock Exige seats) - the same frame with different sewn in examples was on the Type 72, and higher trim Elise-s. I'd say those were factory option seats, not trim shop. Most trim shop were different colors, and stitch patterns
