Nope, the 111R is only for Europe and the rest of the world. Since Lotus USA only offers just one version of the Elise they firgured there's no reason to call it a 111R of a 111S like overseas.

Does the Federal Elise get 111R decals?
You know, the ones right above the side marker lights in front of the doors... that says...

I agree, but it begs the question- what happens when Lotus releases an upgraded engine option to keep sales up in 2 years? I guess it could be an Elise S. Don't really know that it limits the naming ability. I think Elise S (as you suggest) or Elisesport.
