Well the momentary extra 500 revs are supposed to help with staying on lift. And once you're there, it stays on if Rs are above 5800 RPMs. (Lift hits at about 6200 going up through the revs)
When exactly does the light go on compared to the actual rev limiter? (I've only hit lift briefly a few times and only to about 7400 so far - I'm at about 850 miles now, past the 600 where they say you can up the Rs.)
