Yes. My yellow one attracts so many insects, I can't even stand to admire it after a wash because all the insects will be all over it

Bugs, yep. After a wash, yep.

Anyone have photographic equipment that can shoot infrared and/or ultraviolet? I bet there is something more than visible yellow.

Mine is GraphiteGrey and I don't have as bad of a Bee problem, but other little bugs love to hop on after I stop somewhere when the car is still warm.

I haven't seen many bees on it, but I have seen plenty of bee sign (those waxy yellow bee spots--bee poop) on my SY Exige. The car does seem to get swarmed by gnats right after a wash, too...hundreds at a time will land on it.

It's not Lotus specific. All yellow cars attract insects. My S2000 often
has something buzzing about it
or landed on it.

That's the VTEC.

Brit Bikes too. Got stung on my last front yard maintenance job on my bike. I also seem to just get it clean and then slap/smear bugs trying to get them to go away.

bugs mob my car, and I occasionally get the unlucky **** in my interior as well as it explores through the window.
