Well my Reverie Motorsports wing came in today from Sector 111. I now know what car porn really is. This thing is just nuts. It's friggin HUGE, but it doesn't weigh anything:cool: My brain expects something of some mass, but it ultimately is like picking up foam or nothing at all:D... Very weird.

Here are a couple teaser pics. I'll put the whole installation on my website by tomorrow morning most likely...

PS- Exige splitter didn't make it here today, but that will likely be the project for the first of next week...

Best,

Phil

I'm guessing the rear visibility is gone? If so, you want to sell that mirror?

:cool:Ok guys and gals, I've got more pics posted here:

Hope that helps. You obviously saw the clam braces in the above pics. I can't emphasize enough how light this whole thing is... I didn't weigh it, although it may not register unless I use a scale denominated in grams. What was it that Clarkson said about things sold by the gram? :D

I need to have the wing clear coated or painted and I'll try to remember to weigh it then.

Think I should paint it the "classier" body color or keep it carbon? My wife says body color. My guess is that everyone else says carbon:rolleyes::D

Best,

Phil

Thanks Guys, it really looks great in person. Now I just have to wait 5 months for the tracks to open again:wallbang:

The uprights seem heavier than the entire wing and boot supports combined and are made from, as the brits say, al-you-min-ee-um:D

The finish is quite nice, but the instructions say that it will yellow from yellow from UV in 6-8 weeks of direct exposure, so I need to coat it... Question is do I go with body color or clear? Carbon is cool looking, but nothing else on the car is carbon (or carbon looking) and I'm not going to take the car down the carbon path... So I'm thinking the wing will look more proper if it's GG:shrug:

I think with nothing else CF on the car, body color would look more custom & cool

PS: is it temporarily removable if you wanted, say for a long road trip, etc? Maybe a trip to log :)

Phil,
I would go with body color, it's gonna be awesome !
And i'm sure you'll remember there is CF under...
Cheers,
Jean.

My vote; maybe leave the end plates carbon to match the darkness of the wheels (maybe a chop is needed) and paint the main plane GG with an exception of an inch and a half of the leading edge, leave that carbon.
