Okay,
I need a sanity check. When you install the driving lights on a 07 Elise, what brackets do I use and what brackets do I discard?

If anyone has a picture that would be great

So did you just use the light with the bracket on, and attacjed it to the existing bracket with two M4 bolts then?

Where did you route the cables through? Kinda tight?

It's been a long time since I installed them so I don't remember exactly what I did but just using the 2 bolts sounds about right. Like you I was initially very confused as to what I was supposed to use but it turned out to be very simple. I used very little of the hardware from the kit.

I had to take out the blinkers to get the wiring fished to the connectors. Mine were smack dab in the middle of the clam. It was tight as stink and by far took the longest amount of time.

There is a thread here somewhere for the installation that IIRC Tim Mullen did. I followed those instructions basically without the installation of the brackets and with some simple plug and play for the switch as the '07 is pre-wired.

I'll see if I can find it.

I tried to take a picture of my lights but I don't have a live camera battery anywhere in the house. Sorry. A picture is going to be worth a thousand words in this case.

Looking at mine, there is the pre-attached crash structure bracket (looks like an upside down T with holes in the horizontal part) that I attached the light bracket and light housing onto. The adjustable (up and down) bracket that the light housing itself attaches to, IIRC, was already attached to the light housing as well.

That's why we're here ;).

I remember being confused looking at all the, what turned out to be extra, hardware in the kit but once I figured out it was all extra the lights went on in about 10 seconds each. The connectors took about 45 days to fish out of the clam. My kids learned a few choice words during that part of the installation :D.
