What is with the roof scoop on the Evora? Is the car built in such a way tat the scoop is a benefit?

According to the owner, his car is 475 HP and is modified by Lotus F1 with this Bespoke scoop for more air intake.. it is fan assisted to cool the engine... even side panels are sourced from evora GTR.. lot of carbon fiber in the car to keep the weight down... that is what I know from the owner
