Important to slow down and be cool. It is not obvious. And putting them back on is harder and critical. I bent a pin some once and was lucky enough to find it and carefully straighten it with out breaking (I am a Dentist, that helped). If that broke, it's attached to the whole $&(#$ harness.

As he said, there is a black plastic piece that slides sideways. It's really not too bad. Maybe get a mirror and carefully check it out. There is one on each connector (Elige right?)

I would describe it more as a push (to release the retaining lever), rotate (the retaining lever), then pull (the connector). Repeat for the second connector. Do a search for the YouTube video titled "Lotus ECM/ECU Removal Instructions", it makes it very clear.

Thanks God bless Youtube.
I usually go straight to Youtube now-a-days to lookup car care and house maintenance, it's amazing how much useful stuff people put on Youtube.
