I bought a 07 exige, it had 1400 miles, it has a baffled oil pan, rear toe brace
Reviera breather, AC has been removed getting it reinstalled this week.
So to my question is there any way to tell what tune is in my car. I purchased a 08 211 ECU with a Gotham tune ran like **** but got better over time runs good now not sure it is better than what came in the car. Neither one will idle! The ECU that came in the car has a CEL can't remember the code number but too rich condition. Thanks for any help.

You could send it to BOE or buy their software and see what tune is in it. I would contact phil at BOE Fabrication - Lotus Elise, Exige, and Evora Performance ECM Tuning Products

You are most likely going to have a tuner tell you and Phil would be your best bet in my opinion!

AFAIK you can't use an 08 ECU on a 07 car. For starters, the dashes are totally different.

It from a 211 not sure if it's the same as a 08 exige ECU but I'll tell my car, it will not work it thinks it's fine for the last month:shrug: but thanks for letting me know DH

Jermaine at Vision Function does the Gotham tunes now. Contact him to see if he has a updated flash for what aftermarket equipment you currently have on your car.

The Cold Air Intake you have on your engine (Reviera breather) will require your ECU to be reflashed in order to run properly

If it is the wrong ECU the dash would not work I believe

Thanks, it ran pretty bad the first day and I removed it from the car, I purchased it from someone on here, he said it should run and told me to run it a few days, about 4 days later it runs fine, I'm not really sure it's stronger than what came in the car. The car also has headers tubular decat and stage two, I'm not sure about blower pulley size I need to measure it when I get it back from Motor Cars of ga. Wednesday there install the ac back in. The dealer Huntington Ridge I bought the car from Didn't know it was missing boy was I surprised it's was a long drive from Ct. To Ga with out air. So he not been any help as far as what's in the car now with after market parts.

Sounds like the ECU is trying to adjust but possibly it is out of its range.

I would definitely get a hold of Jermaine then. Since he supports the Gotham tune I am sure he will do what ever he can to make it work since his name is on the tune.

I would say the same of Phil, Koldfire or Sector if they had originally done the tune
